Forgive me if I sound a little harsh as my impressions of this image are not entirely positive and happen to differ from those who have already commented on it. I`m sorry not to find this photo visually impressive, a stand-out, like several of your other works displayed here. For one, I`m a bit bothered by the fact that virtually indiscernible darkness occupies almost half of the picture. Granted, there`re some objects noticeable in it but I question whether alotting the shadow so much space is worthwhile. The shape of the sunbeam itself is rather uninteresting to me, and - gasp - neither is the composition or the setting itself... Laoma, have no doubt that I think highly of your work, and I hope you don`t mind my frankness here. I haven`t decided on a rating yet. No sour feelings, I hope.

Very clean and a mixture of photojounalism and the ethereral. Nice style yet some may not comprehend the concept from your point of view. Exposure a little down - mainly density.
