Dear Jurij! I am very pleased by your comments - they are so professional, critical and constructive. And it`s a great pleasure for me to argue with you (if you don`t mind ). Please notice that I am not a professional, that`s why my reply represent just my personal point of view.
I agree that both high or low horizons DO improve perception in most of photos! I also use these options in order to emphasize some parts of composition (e.g., the colour of the sky or the ground and rocks respectively). But, IMHO, for this particular photo the mirror symmetry seems to suit well.
