Sincerely Thank you for your comment and your variant too. I had a similar adjustment as you prepared but finally I chosen the "brighter chest". I was worry that it should tearing attention and decrease the composition.
The base should be less bright and the left leg too. You are the right.

Причина для моего варианта. была несколько другая. В Вашем фото два ярких пятна статуя и стена под статуей как бы раздёргивают внимание. Глаз видит статую и моментально опускается вниз. затем опять на статую и опять вниз. Такая, как бы binery нестабильность. Моя интуитивная попытка была уравновесить статую с приоритетом на содержание. Вариант и не более. Вариант так как фото понравилось.

I had a different reason for my version. There are two bright spots in your photo. Being to close they are forcing attention in a binary manner between the statue and the spot on the wall under it. My correction of balancing the image with its content preference was more intuitive than logical. Also it is only a version, as I liked the photo.
