I know, the horizon line bothers me, but I had nothing to do ... the station point had to be higher than the character ...:((
I like the photo - very nice, however, I think it is too dark.
The horizon does not bother me, as for me the figure over the horizon line looks natural,
Find my version, as the comment explanation.

Thanks very much! I agree, okay, from a strictly photographic point of view, your version is better but I wanted to keep as much as possible the existing light at that moment, very early, 4, 4:30 am. and this due to the fact that for fishermen the departure in wide is an important event. At that time the light was dim. The importance and time of going to sea is revealed by two elements: little light and the character watching the whole scene (without the character the story would have been different; just as interesting but different).
The picture is taken in Romania, Constanta
Thank you fo such detailed explanation.
I think, that fo a viewer the darkness of the scene does not look the same as for you at the time of KLIK. The viewer would sees just a dark photo. Also, a human eyes usually see mach more in the such low light. The eyes sensitivity increases switching from seeing in colors to BW. Also, it is impssable for the viewer to see if the fisherman is arriving or departs. It would be easy in a video clip. A photo especially BW does not show the reality of the moment, as a camera does not know how to do it. Reality is too complex to fit into one picture. There is no way to show the sounds, the light wind or the air freshness at the time and etc.
I have added some light to the image not to correct the photo, but to show my (as a wiewer) version only. It could be my inability to see (read) the photo, or your inability to show, we are both failed, or ... we are both correct
You're right, images are told differently, I know. That's why I posted the sequel. The first on September 21. at 10:33 and the second on Sept. 22. at 17:14. There is also the "reverse" variant, the "Tarkovsky" variant : Tarkovsky "turns the film into photography"; pseudo-static frames that tell by themselves; visually separated from the cinematic language but simultaneously perfectly "embedded" in it. Wizard Tarkovsky ...
...and, the End of the Story...on 23 sept. at 15:35
Thank you for the explanation and details.
