Great work and expression.
I think you miss a vital point, he is loking to the
left side and I would like to crop the picture in the other side (right).
So in other words I don`t like your composition, I would like to crop into
the back of his head, so you couldn`t see any of the wall.

I know it`s a different shot then, but that is also just my own opinion.

Yeah I tried that too, but this way you get a much stronger composition that keeps you comming back to his face everytime you reach the right side of the picture. Cropping the right side would have totally removed a very important feeling of whats "behind" him in many senses

But one is always free to have another opinion
