very toughing moment

that what is is that what isn`t isn`t
we have that from philosophers of long, long ago
and also from people as `simple` as peasants
i saw something very similar to the statement above in a country-school classroom in a museum once

`There is a conflict between what is and what isn`t
What is, I guess, is big
And what isn`t, bigger`

says one poet in the aftermath of the beat movement
contradicting the assertion above
apparently at least -
for the poet – Jack Spicer, in case names mean anything – goes on:

`Metaphysically speaking
What aren`t casts no shadow
And what are is bigger than the moon, I guess`

can we therefore take pictures of what isn`t
or can we not
everybody for sure takes pictures of what is
they see it and click! go the shutters
they`re unstoppable
they copy everything and feel good about it
why shouldn`t they
not all want to complicate their lives hanging about and around metaphysically
we don`t even know what this word means
a lot would retort

nobody even bothers to think when copying reality about such issues as copyright
but ho what a big fuss they`d make how outraged and boisterous they would be if anyone dared copy their picture (i.e., just a copy in its turn) to modify it a bit - just as they did – and sign a new name on they would contact a lawyer and sue that bloody person`s arse and everything else

the difference between a good - not only photographer, but - person and a bad one is that the former cares and is committed whereas the latter does and is not
