It is a photo. Nothing special, the bird was too far away in the origonal so it had to be blowed up and rehashed. It`s a photo all the way. I must admit unabashedly, I use Photoshop on all my photos turning them into images if one wants to mince words. The image is all important to me. How one arrives at it is inconsequential.
I am glad you enjoyed the image.

Thank you Sandra. You definately "get it". I was a painter in my youth but maintain my painterly eye today. I view much of my work with that distinction. I find few folks in my peer group who understand this. It`s okay as long as they truly enjoy viewing the pictures. I wish you a pleasant holiday season.

I like when photo becomes the base for painting... It`s fine picture! But I think the colour of frame is not suitable... Green or red...?
