This Monument, at the "Ibirapuera" Park in Sao Paulo City at Brasil, was created by "Victor Brecheret" in 1021, but only was inaugurated in 1953, for the 399 years celebrations of SAMPA.
Created in memory of those expeditionaries who had gone to the Brasil interior after it independency in expeditions named "Bandeiras".
It measures 12 meters hight, 50 m lenght and 15 m width.
