This foto was taken yesterday, in a city tour with a group of artist and photografers.
This ancient beautiful house , was bought by the "Marquise of Santos" in 1843 and was there that the Brasilian Aristocratic Society had their meetings and pomp dances, by the end of the XIX Century.
Well maintained under the care of the Department of the Historical Patrimony of Brasil, this building deserves a touristic visit in the Street Roberto Simonsen, at the Sao Paulo`s center, right on the spot where this city was born.

What a nice perspective here. A view from a window with a balcony of a window with a balcony!!!
Nice B&W tones and have worked well here. Unusual roof tiles, perhaps common in Sao Paulo.

Great photo Rosa! I would have tried to center the window a little more or cropped so you dont get so much black on the right to balance it.
