I live 10 miles west of Dallas, Texas. My profession is nursing. For enjoyment and relaxation I enjoy painting with pastels, mostly portraits. I love photography and now own both a film and digital Canon. I still find time to sew occassionally, as my former profession was in fashion design. I adore my pets, at present chickens, rabbits and a bird. I am new to photography and enjoy taking pictures of most anything. My favorites, however, are of people and animals. I appreciate all comments and critique, as I still have so much to learn.
