A pro-photographer for twenty seven years,i am for the most part self taught. After all when a school can be summed up as photography for idiots,in other words if you can read a book you can learn. I dumped the lab work and chemicals for the digital lab in the eighties. I sell to a market which deals mostly with day rooms or entry ways.
I have photographed everything from flowers and landscapes to architecture. Weddings and bridal portraits are no longer my income,but instead have gone into portraits and specialties markets. I find and use models that are a common everyday people,my job is to make them look otherwise.
If any photographer thinks that digital work is not pure,i would remind them that even Adams touched up his work to make it saleable! Strictly as a hobby i help historical groups by photographing old missions and or mansions,mine camps etc.
