Bravooooo!
VERY cool... going to my favorites!
Interesting... What if you don`t desaturate the surroundings completely but tone them, however slightly? I think (but not entirely sure) this might make the color relationship more harmonious. Oh, and I would`ve like to see more of the ..face
By the way, here`s a variation on the theme -- http://www.photoline.ru/cgi-bin/cr/photo.pl?ind=1002176341
Alenka... I copied and pasted the URL you have here... it didn`t go anywhere...
;-(
Алёнка К.: It worked, but I had to remove two spaces from the address - before .ru and before .pl. A powerful image, but perhaps a bit too sad for a Friday afternoon. I`ll look at it again on Monday morning . Actually, I`ve made two versions of my photo. Take a look here: http://www.photocritique.net/g/s?00nemn
Melanie, Nikolai, that`s odd Smth is up with the script here. Here, I`ll try HTML tags -- or, as Nikolai said - remove the spaces in those two places. I`ll ask Nick, the administrator, to allow for html in comments.
Nikolai, I couldn`t get through to your link - which spaces to remove there? Reply via e-mail, if you like.
Алёнка К.: ) The space between "crit" and "ique"
The opera "Pagliacci" come to mind. I think the different component here: childs toy, clowm, iron bars stone walls are contradictive and at the same time like a well balanced meal - A feast for the eyes and brain. My eyes thank you and my brain says hello! VERY KOOL!
The feeling of a hole drama in genious representation, Nikolai.
Excellent work and with deep sense!
great idea
perfectly done
