Being an American, I really can`t read what she`s reading because at my age when I was her age I would have been burned at the stake if anybody in my home town thought I even thought about reading anything Cyrillic. However, I did sneak around and read some real history, and therefore I guess I think I get the message here based on your title. As a photo, this is pretty good even without the metaphor.
