I was hiking in the north woods of Michigan and found this old railroad bridge dating from early last century. The railroad didn`t survive but the pilings for this bridge did. The picture was taken with a Kodak DC4800 and processed in Photoshop.

Good shot. It seems to me that the tree in the right is unwanted. And it will better to find another point to shot -- without our comment it`s difficult to undestand that it is a bridge.

As a wave of nostalgia sweeps over me, I am trying to imagine the labor involved in building such a railroad - and the many who paid dearly for it. A very good photo which captures this feeling.
