This is "25th of April Bridge" but its previous name was "Salazar Bridge"...
The actual name was given to commemorate the Portuguese Revolution on April 25th. It was built by Portuguese workers under the supervision of two American Companies, United States Steel and Morrison Knudsen. Inaugurated in 1966, I can prove it because I`ve been working there between 61 and 66 as an interpreter timekeeper... I wish you an enjoyable and profitable weekend!
