Peter, your macro images are so outstanding. Sharp, crisp, saturated, and wonderful contrasting backgrounds. Are you using 35mm or a digital camera? The great depth of field makes me think it is digital. I mean f32 will do it, but this does not look like a flash shot. And if you are going the slow shutter speed route that is tough with insects and flowers that wave with the slightest breese. Of course some photographers pick and take the flowers into a sheltered location to photograph. You do not. And for all these reasons, great shot.
Peter - great detail and color - I might want to blur the stem in the background to the right a little - but it is still a wonderful shot - I an almost smell summer
I cannot believe I get the bee in addition to a fabulous macro image. I love the form and color and detail of the flower but what makes this image fabulous is how you placed it in the frame.
