A week a go I have posted the same picture for photo rating expecting big response since I think that this picture, portrait of the dog, is more then less perfect. For my disappointed I have received only 3 comments and also 3 ratings, one was 3X(9) and the rest were 3X(7). Only one member who graded me with nines explained her point of view regarding this picture the rest did not say anything. I do not compete here so I do not care if you grade my work good or bad but I do care for your opinion. If you grade lower then usually then at least explained what and why is wrong so that I can learn something new and adjust my opinion. Since I did not receive any explanation what is wrong with this picture I am uploading it again but this time for dissuasion, maybe somebody will have a time and desire to say something.

Nothing is going wrong here, at least not for me. All the dog`s character is quite present here and the image has great balance. Regards.

Sorry, I`m not the best person to make comments about technique...
But I like very much that photo, because I love dogs...
I love the expression, I like the framing and I like very much the contrast against background!

It`s OK for me!...focus in the eyes of the dog, depth of field controled to blur the background... I can`t help, Sanjin!

You have a beautiful friend,Sanjin,he has so expressive eyes,what can we read in this two "windows of soul"? I think he appreciates you,and wonder what you think about him,and what`s happen behind your "windows of soul"...
He`s so human,even if I think that animals are,sometimes, more important than some of human beeings...Well,hard to say,but that`s what I think.
I love this shot.
