This Picture was one of my first night shots with my Fuji S 602 . I didn’t realize the result of this work untill I have seen it through the LCD. I became rather surprised and I started to take other shots with different angles. It was in 2002 and this particular shot was one of the first steps to start looking at the photography with a passion I never realized I could go through.
This shot was made in Azores-St.Michael Island in a place called Furnas - a vulcanic area and you can see the smoke coming from the ground lighted by some fixed spotlights. - F2.8 - 3 secs - ISO 200
This is a dedication to our friend Luquesio Melo born in this wonderful island, one of the most lovely places in the world.

My dear friend: A natureza tem destas coisas e tu estavas a hora certa no momento certo. Ha aqui uma certa explosao"cosmica" de cor e luz fascinante e contagiante. E um belo trabalho, para ver e rever. Grande abraco, nunca me desiludiste marujo:))
