1-The composition is unbalanced because of the triangle of stones in the right bottom corner. This element diverts the attention and it is difficult to concentrate on the ruins.
2- The second element which diverts the attention from the ruins is the building near of the left border. It is highlighted by the sky (which is beautiful!).
In conclusion, the ruins are difficult to see from a photographic point of view!
thnaks for your critics, even my main object was sunset, i only added that commentary about ruins coz i found those mills very intresting due to its importance at times i mentioned, but as you say, they are not clear... i get your point about cmpositon and i really appreciate it.. coz i need to learn a lot!!
ok Silvia. If the sunset was the subject, the point n°2 of my critic is turned off! For a good highlighting of the mill, maybe you could try to go back to this place at sunrise...
