This is a modified repost of one of my earlier works. It reminded me of the Japanese style of painting, generally termed "yamato-e" what are your thoughts? For examples of this style research the "Mary`s Hanga Collection" or "yamato-e" on the internet.

you`re right about yamato-e.. it has somehow those flat planes of rich color.. and lines of composition...
really such delicate nice image... wonderful composition and pastel colours ...
