this is at northwest of my country.. a national park called"los Cardones" which is the name we give to this kind of cactus...there is another part of this park where"cardones" are much more extended, and at our independence wars (beginning of 1800`s), our generals used to dress cardones with military clothes to make the enemy believe they were soldiers, seeing from far away
