Супер!!!
Originality of place and time here is both fantastic and scary. The softnees of the light and the maintainence of the detail everywhere is something just not scene and I really appreciate that exposure.
Unusual shot with strong and dramatic composition!
hello
what about cutting the picture exactly in the middle (horizontally) and keeping the lower half
i`ll rate for that
i am tio pepe (here i go again introducing myself to people i do not know i used to be told it`s only nice/polite to do it) i am interested in a number (though small) of things including photography so here i am making comments
i am also a practitioner every now and then but i have not made any of my pictures accessible yet
What a strong visual impact this image has. And the perspective of the tracks, lighting. Superb photography!
Wayne Leach
great colors and composition Al!
kids?...that`s what I say every morning whe I see the commuter train coming down the track.....
It almost looks like an ethereal will-o-wisp that has descended from the mountain behind it. The curve of the tracks and the lighting on them couldn`t be better. Wonderful DOF...and...WOW!
A phantom locomotive? Watch yourself out there, Al! Composition-wise, I think there might be a bit too much going on here. I`ve considered a number of cropping alternatives, and I`m sort of leaning toward the conclusion that the angle may not have been the optimal one here... Not sure. In any case, I think the bit on the left can be cropped out safely - it`d tighten the composition and focus it in a bit more. I`m not sure I like the finishing much - the pixelated sky and the very black dark areas. But, an image that`s certainly bold and unusual.
Beautiful curves. Very Original
Powerful shot Al.
Hot shot, Al. Cropping sky portion at top right would add to impact composition.
I`m a sucker for trains Al! As others have suggested, this would look great cropped to remove the blue sky....it would then look even more dark and sinister than it does now!
