Beautifully sensitive image.. the cast down glance, the modest bucket, the white stockings and neatly put feet of a school girl, the leaning on the wall from exhaustion of an aging woman... there`s so much in her pose and her companions - the bouquet and the bucket of - are these lillies of the valley? - . the window is quite interesting too, though I`m wondering whether a differen shooting angle would`v done better to shift it off center... I`m not sure whether it`s more contrast that the image could use, as Cosmin says, or maybe a little bit of sharpness. If this is a scan, sharpness could`ve been lost in processing, so a little bit - not too much of `unsharp mask` could do this good. But I love, love, love, the blurriness of the feet and legs - that should definitely stay. Thank you for sharing. I`m so pleased with the arrival of excellent B/W photographers like you, Vasile, to the site. smile

Poignant shot where the body language of the woman speaks more loudly than words. Excellent work!

it`s so sad (if that`s what you mean by `trisstesse` - which sounds a bit pathetic) that it`s not even straight

i do have the feeling everything is a bit off
maybe another cropping solution?

the black frame works well

does a better camera make one a better photographer
(to reply to one of your queries)
is it easier to take pictures using a state-of-the-art camera

some people certainly do take advantage of it
but does that make them smarter and more skilful

if your camera is ordinary if you do not use all the fancy gear they come with lately can you take a good picture one that would move mountains and make the tough go soft and tender

but
if you could get a good camera why not use it

if you can`t – then – should you not attempt

another dilemma, and no place to go from here but ahead
which is not necessarily the best place to go to
