Taken with a Nikon 80-200mm f2.8 with Velvia as the man was walking towards me. I took about 10 shots as he approached fearing for camera movement. They all came out razor sharp. As we passed I said Thank you. He said You re welcome. A very strange and wonderful incounter.

wonderfull subject material, would have preferred better composition. But grab shots dont give us that luxery of perfection.

an absolutely incredible portrait. I do agree however about the excessive cropping on top. too bad I can`t rate the photo for some reason...

Smashing shot, Steve. I can see why you couldn`t just pass by the man. Whatever the cut you got it very right and cought the very essens of the encounter. This wise and powerful face can convey a dramatic life story.
