i remember having read this line once and i found it fascinating – also because it seems impossible to translate (in may language anyway)
`she stands her own sad monument of woe`
they look so much like us or we look so much like them that very many seem to be longing for something – it could be the times when man was just the representative of a species that would not do much harm to the other ones or the earth
again the picture seems to be too wide
the format might work in some case (for instance your own Imprisonment for life or The philosopher) but not in all cases it of course depends on what you have in the picture
repeated experiments in cropping/cutting might help
