Great idea and composition even though the frame is split into two, but it works fine here.

Interesting shot, Alenka. Maybe really you could do without that tree in the background? But... The author is always right (or maybe have their rights sounds better smile

I like these kind of "non-narrative" shots, where the image is mostly a
teaser for the viewers own projections! Like in fine arts the best pictures are those which
are not really finished, leaving some room open for interpretation and phantasy.
This is here again the case. Like in many of your pictures, Alenka, the
viewer has to finish your shots in adding his own part of phantasy to it.
This is often very difficult but maybe most fascinating!
Here I like the lighting very much which creeps aound the tree , that gloomy atmosphere in the back,
a possible danger on the way or around the corner? The rough bork of that tree ( a cypress?)
well contrasting with the soft background, these fine earthy colors perfectly in harmony.
This part of a stemm, a symbol maybe for a section, a moment in life, with unknown future,
some little pieces falling, ripped off by that rough weather, a tribute, a sacrifice... traces of life...
