I took more than 10 pictures from this scene with different perspectives, framings and exposures. This one is my favorite. Thank you for your attention.
the camera lag on a table under the staircase lighted by a cloudy light through the windows, shot with ISO 50, f8, 0.6 sec, manual WB, manual focus.

This just looks so bizarre. In the best sense of the world. The exposure is uncanny (could you talk about lighting conditions and camera settings?), and the effect is quite mesmerizing. The cropping decision leaves me feeling a little uneasy but I can`t really explain exactly why. It just seems like maybe there`s too much `extra` stuff at the left and top. Yet, these parts are also important and interesting. So, I`m not sure... Overall, this is a stunner. Love the title too.

Julia, I think a little more contrast would add impact. You really did a good perspective shot.

Staircases are a popular shooting subject. But, this one still stopped me for a while - the shot is looking upwards, fantastic scene, very well composed, pleasing tone, a pseudo high key shot with interesting details.
