Nice job of using the light to draw attention to the figure. However I feel that there is a struggle for the subject here. Is it that interesting door or the highlighted figure. A person in the photo always draws the eye. Yet I think the subject of the door is very strong. The lines of the foreground also draws the eye away from the figure and towards the door.

If you were able to, I would suggest shooting it again but without the young lady.

Paul, thank you for taking trouble to write such a detailed comment. I understand your point very well. The fact is, I was shooting this scene before the figure appeared. So, I needn’t to shoot it again to get your ideal picture since I already have two other shots from the same position without the figure. I know the current figure doesn’t look very spectacular. However, I prefer to present this shot because I feel I need the figure to balance the high lighted part of the entrance.
