The Nikolskaya chapel is set on top of the hill in Vershinino village, and is considered to be sacred by the natives. From the hill one has a wonderful view of the Ken lake, its indented coastline and islands. The time of the chapel construction is not known, but for sure it was there already in the 18th century. The form and architectural style make it a charming construction even now. The advantageous position of the chapel convinces us even more in its monumental character and stateness.

Ба! Кто ж тут у нас кенозёр? Cнимок замечательный по технике и композиции! Чаще, правда, эту часовню снимают так, что ясно видно крутой склон, у края которого она стоит. Кто б ещё часовню в Зихново выставил? у меня есть снимок, но чужой...
