wonderfully composed image, being a very sensitive, powerful and direct statement about an enduring love, friendship and faithfulness. impressive indeed. but in my opinion the image is a little too much grainy and cold in colors, adding an opposite message, rude and hard, and a bit sad, to the warmth of feeling we could expect in such kind of portrait. maybe the bluish/grey tone could be turned into sepia or something, to render it more poetical and with more tenderness. anyway it is a great work, congrats!

I also agree with with Ricardo Frantz that sepia toning may be would have been perfect for this picture.
