Memorial to Ukrain - Curitiba, Brazil.
In 1888 the Isabel princes signed the Aurea law. This law finished slavery in Brazil. Before this law another laws have been dificulted to deal slaves.
These acts opned Brazilian's doors to imigrants and the most of them came to states of Sao Paulo, Parana, Santa Catarina and Rio Grande do Sul to work in farms.
In Parana state arrived Germans, Polish, Italiants, Ukkranian, Japanese and Arabean.
The ukranian people arrived in Curitiba in 1895.
The Memorial to Ukrain was open in 1985 to celebrate 100 years of their imigration.
