I won't evalualte the picture. I really don't know what were your intensions. There too many deaths around... Are you trying to encourage others? Are you trying to say - it's OK to abandon life? I had not lost anybody this way, but I know one who could be hurt watching this one.

I can tell you why I took the picture as I did, and I can tell you what other people has told me thought about it, and what thoughts they thought, but I'm not going to tell you what I want you to think.
I do feel for anyone who has lost someone dear to them by suicide, however, I'm not going to apologize for taking this photo, nor publicing it.
what do YOU feel when you see it? disgust? remorse? perhaps even personal dismay for the photographer (me) who's taken this picture? (why?)

when i shot these pictures (dead-thoughts-butterfly#1 + 2 etc.) it was in somekind of rebellion against the taboo about suicide, no-one really talks about it, and no-one discusses it.
I've had quite a lot of friends thats either thought about or tried (and failed luckily) to commit suicide, and its just kinda been hushed and hidden away. which i think is wrong.
Don't you think this way of expression will encourage others to follow this way? When I see this picture, I feel this young fellow is happy about pulling the trigger. If you want to talk or draw attention to the subject, please find another way of expression. Some might be encourage, not discourage. The subject is very broad and this is not the place for such a discussion. Please be carefull - some may thake your picture not in the way you intend them. Regards.
no, honestly i dont think so. i dont think suicide's cool in any way, somewhat fascinating maybe, not cool.
and i didnt upload the picture to discuss suicide, i uploaded it because its one of my (in my own opinion) best shots.
you have, however, every right to disagree if thats not your opinion.
if the majority (or an admin) doesnt think it belongs here for any reason(i read and re-read the rules and i cant find anything in them that would ban my picture) , i'll probably debate about it, but ill remove it if so wished, not, however, -just- because some people might find it offending.
at any-rate, i'm actually glad you dont like it, because that means that you've looked at it and then looked again (does he look happy i this picture? i dont think so), and sadly not everybody does that..
