A quitely dramatic work with beautiful flow of colors
enhanced by the composition. The light is fantastic
and conveys such a solitary mood.

quite moody... makes me a bit melancholic, but in a positive way:) The man on the corner could be the subject of 1000 interpretations... wonderful land, well captured. If you want a critique (otherwise I will only say compliments:D) I could say that the orizont line looks a little bit (0.5 degrees) moved on the right side and the frame would have been better if the head would not collide to the island... but those are details. I really like also the external frame-effect.
:)

Hi Mirko, how are you?
Yes, I'd like to get critics, and if you may I wish to explain:
The man sits at the southest point in Argentina, he looks toward Antarctica (the southest point on the globe), it's winter - maybe that's the cause of the melancolic mood, I interpret his solitude as longings for home (while it could be 1000 other interpretations). What I love in the photo is the monochromatic tones and the fact that nature and man coloured the same. That's why I don't care that the head combines with the view, maybe I prefer it this way because it's emphasise the connection between the tow. Yes, the horizen is bent - but no one is perfect.....
Warm regards.

Hello Ilil! I am fine..;) Thank you very much for your explanation: you are right... I like the vision of the man being somehow "united" to the earth. IT could be seen also that he IS earth, whil he looks at the other element, which is sea (but can also be sky) and he wishes to join them... to join what is far or different from him.
Too much philosophy?
ciao!
:)
