This was the Chinese Garden’s 30th year of celebrating Singapore Lantern Festival and the organizers ware determined to make it the biggest and best show ever done here! Filled with over 1100 pieces of lanterns, from big to bigger to biggest!
There ware 23 intriguing, exciting, mysterious and heart-warming themes of lanterns that look like overflowed the Chinese Garden during the festival. From the dancing animal orchestras, to the bridge of musical fairies, leading you into the majestic palace of Chang Er, African Savannas, to the Great Migration, the World of Big Cats and even a safari-styled ride through The World of Carnivorous Plants and Insects and the exhibit of The Revenge of the Living Trees, it was exciting, educational and fun for everyone!
A real treat for the eyes with this kaleidoscope of colors that filled the gardens and the celebration of culture, Lantern Safari 2005 was just as fantastic as some one can make it be!
