This salmon carcass lay on a sand bar of the Squamish river, site of both a large salmon run and a large bald eagle migration around Christmas time. The original photo was almost sepia tone - very muted colours - I tried it in black and white and liked the enhanced contrast. I then applied a fliter to bring out the film grain. I think it makes the sand grains more obvious.

Geoff you are getting some fantastic shots with that Olympus and doing a masterful job in the post processing. Great contrast. Love the texture on this.
