notes:
This is a western screech owl. Not very big cousin of the other raptors I have shown. Forgive me at the moment, but my main computer lit up like a fireworks display, and right now I am trying to ascertain what is lost (my main photo drive possibly) and what is not. I am using my laptop to post this which is all I could find at the moment. Hopefully when I am able to log in again, It will be back on my main computer. For now I know I lost the pentium 4 CPU. Anyhow hope to join the discussions again in a day or two.

No doubt! My mouse survived, and possibly the CPU, motherboard (motherboard takes power, just did not try to boot off of it). The thermal layer between the heatsink and the CPU was pretty crisp, but I see no visual damage to the chips or solder joints. To be safe I put in a new MB, CPU, Heatsink and fan. Turns out all those sparks came from my Power supply shooting across the CPU and striking against my video card (video card survived). Unfortuanately my switch on the case took a fatal hit as well. I may someday try to bring up those old parts for grins, as a backup PC.
