Every August for the last 60 some years a gathering of people happens at Sturgis South Dakota. These people ride motor cycles across country and camp in the fields of the farmers in this quiet little town. From Sturgis they travel to places like Devils Tower Wyoming. This makes for unusual subject matter. This was a dummy that had a motion activated chip, and a rough voice that told jokes. The guy on the lawn was playing disco songs to an audience of one on an old electronic organ... And well that really cool looking rock in the background is something you have to see up close to appreciate. As you get closer to it the color becomes more tan, and you become very impressed by the rugged surface. Some may know it from Close Encounters of the Third Kind. It is Devils Tower, and a sacred place to the Native Americans. There is nothing sacred about this photo. It just makes me chuckle to see how all those elements came together in the one photo.
