Photo Green Tea by Craig Hansen

It's "Shin Cha" (new tea) time in Japan now. Here is how the fields near my home look today with Mount Fuji in the background. The plant is incidentally the same for black tea, just the processing is different.

Ocha fields? Craig, the first time I flew over Japan coming from The semi-arid west coast, I was so impressed with the greens.

Tried to e-mail you on my hotmail acct. Didn't go through. Yes I drink ocha in Calif. First wife was Japanese. Her family from the Kamakura/Enoshima area. Yamauchi sama.

Mon cher ami, tu as l'art de nous faire decouvrir des endroits superbes... les couleurs;, les lignes, et bien sur le fond.
j'ai achete il y a peu de temps du the vert japonais il coutait un prix exorbitant ( mais il etait delicieux).
