My favorite photos of White Sands reflect the Joy on the dog's faces. This shot of Kirby was taken as I was still figuring out Ann's camera, after mine broke. Kirby wa runing up a sand dune. In a strange way, the fact that the background blew so badly actually made my subject in the foreground stand out even more!
