the subject it's the only NOT out of focus...but maybe you can't understand because your mind is not open.

For the less open-minded it would probably be of some help to cut off uninteresting parts of the picture. I think you meant the effect that the whole animal fits in a single fence hole and probably could escape... but you don't need the white tree at the left and the second animal at the right side to emphasize this. a sharper fence could be of some additional advantage too, but its hard to despair about depth of field with animals who can change their position at every moment.
