This is a working water powered Grist Mill that produces corn meal. It is located in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park in Tennesee. Seventy eight historic structures, including grist mills, churches, schools, barns, and the homes of early settlers, preserve Southern Appalachian mountain heritage in the park. Hope you enjoy the photo :)

Thank you my friend !! Yes it's quite a rarity but it does work ! You can enter it while it is running and purchase the corn meal they make ! The whole story to this place is quite fascinating if you ever have time to look up on the web. Look up Cades cove or Great Smoky Mountains. Take care
