After spending a day walking on snow in the high alpine on a damp grey day, a friend and I dropped down below the snow line. The change from whites and greys to fall colours caught the eye, and inspired this macro shot.

This is a beautiful composition, but over and in the angles it is not clear. This is an ugly defect.
