Elvas, Aqueduct of the Amoreira. Its construcção was initiated in 1498, under the risk of Francisco de Arruda and, later, of Alfonso Álvares, Diogo Marques and Pero Vaz Pereira who concludes it in 1622. It has an extension of about 7,800 meters. The main part is torn by four floors of arches that if support in cylindrical abutments.
