Photo Lake O'hara...the start of a great hike by Jim Griffin

OK all you hiking fans, (and I know this means you Billy H. :-) ) we're off to hike the alpine loop at Lake O'hara in Yoho National Park Canada. This shot is taken just at the start as we are about to start our ascent to Wiwaxy Gap. Not but 2.2km, but very steep. Here we go!...scanned negative

ok, maybe technical side not perfect but scenes composed well such as this give a huge appeal which is the real secret to a succesful shot,

Yes you're right ! I enjoy them because I'll most likely never walk in those footsteps so I love the scenery I 'd otherwise not see and the fact that you tell the stories so well ! You should publish these adventures seriously ! This one is off to a great start with this storybook view !!!
