Rock tones and angles.
Took this yesterday afternoon.
With these water action shots, you kind of know, the second you click the shutter, that you've caught a good one. From 70-odd shots taken yesterday all around the place, not just coastal scenes, this is the one I was looking forward to putting up on the screen.
Sporadically appearing from behind the moving clouds, the sun was in near perfect position, about 8 o'clock on my azimuth, and maybe 45 degrees above the horizon. Catching the sun and water at the same time were long odds.
Only one adjustment done. A small amount of global denoising. Otherwise untouched.

I can see why you were anticipating this shot, this is an excellent capture. not only is the tonality great, the texture of the sand and in the explosion of water on the rocks. all-in all a great moment capture Cameron.

Good exposure and detail and the composition is perfect with the water leaning right mimicking the slope of the rocks on the right. Excellent capture.

Beautiful detail !! My creative mind sees it as Neptune's hand reaching up out of the sea !
