A very beautiful landscape. The silhouettes are so nice. A great composition. My congratulations, Slave.

if it would be possible to remove branches on the left low corner, the picture would get more perspective and will sounds great.
I guess, that coloring was scrued by scanner, so it`s still very good.

Well, Slave was very upset with my comment and rating for this photo. He, even visited my gallery... (this fact is good by itself… actually, but let me explain the rating. Again, it’s private opinion and it’s going to be subjective. ;o) OK?
Let us start from composition: the same branches, which put unnecessary spot on the tree`s reflection. That reflections and sun are going to be key elements on the lazy, blue water on the bottom of the picture. But we have unfocused branches instead, plus some branches, which are connected to the tree on the top of picture.
Now, the impact: The name is sundown, so where is the charming of sunset? Where is feeling of the passed day? Where is the soul of sunset? It’s going to stop us and let us enjoy the moment. I did not have such a feelings. Sorry.
And the latest component – technique: there are no focus on the picture! Colors are faded. Color balance and contrast/brightness could be much better… if you so want to be highly rated.
This gentleman pretends to have the high rating, but it costs us the knowledge of photography and some luck. I did not found that components here. So, I rated the photo like I did. Actually, the rating is going to be lower (remember? Subjective opinion…).
I saw Works of our Members who were getting excellent rating (that day), and you know, what? – I did feel, that it’s not right to give Slave so many credits.
