Taken in February this year. A slightly different approach to my never-ending coastal/water theme. The white foam is salt water that has been whipped up by the rough weather, almost in the same manner as beating the white of an egg. It settles on the beach for a while at the top of the tide mark, and eventually dissolves or gets pealed off the beach by the strong wind in large snow-like flakes, and blown away.

I like the tonal contrasts, and the way the sunlight from the left put in a quick show.
