Harry, is perfectly right.
I assure you that, in the original one, the blue eyes of the subject are perfectly noticed; for problems (perhaps) of compression or conversion software a lot of my images appear more ax once published on PhotoForum.ru
However you know that the web is not the last destination of certain images (as your splendid images of the polar bears).

Devo essere sincero? E' un bel ritratto ma dal mio punto di vista non ha quel qualcosa che a me piace in un ritratto: taglio, principalmente la luce, insomma mi deve colpire. Comunque la foto è perfetta. Ciao

Lo devi, assolutamente, ci mancherebbe altro.
Ti passo alcune informazioni per il solo dovere di cronaca (non intendo assolutamente tentare di farti cambiare idea):
Milano, Piazza Duomo, la vigilia di Italia-Scozia (26 marzo 2005) per le qualificazioni ai Campionati del mondo dello scorso anno, verso sera.
Era mia intenzione riprendere con delle "street" al volo lo sguardo fiero dei tifosi non ancora appassito dai litri di birra che scorreva a fiumi.
La partita fini 2-0 per l'Italia con doppietta di Pirlo, e la birra ruppe le dighe tentando di consolare

I pass you some information for the only duty of chronicle (I don't absolutely intend to try to make you change mind):
Milano, Piazza Duomo, the eve of Italy-Scotland (26.03.2005) for the qualification to the World Championships of 2006, toward evening.
It was my intention to take back with of the "street" ,to the flight shoot , the pride look of the Scottish fans not yet faded by the liters of beer that it flowed to rivers...
Always for the chronicle the game ended 2-0 for Italy with two goals of Pirlo (and the beer broke the dikes to console)
