One more photo from the area near Valdez, Alaska. This is another waterfall in Keystone canyon called Bridalveil Falls. The falls are 800 ft. high. Below the falls is the Lowe river which we had the pleasure/displeasure of rafting. This is a very calm section of the river and yet the water is churning here. I've never been on a raft in which the rocks beneath you were churning due to the strong current. Not to mention if you fell out of the raft you would hit 35 degree F. water.(which is almost freezing and hypothermia would hit in 2 minutes). Still we survived to see the waterfall.
