Your images all have a ghostly - surrealistic feel to them. This is an excellent shot. What do they use this for and why the traffic markers?
I found these big cracks in the lakebed, caused by water runoff. The cones were setup to keep motercyclists, etc. from running into the cracks. The interconnection of cracks was pretty large, and I got about 80 shots around the area. I thought it was an amazing situation where life immitated art. There was no physical manipulation done, this was its "natural" state. Unfortunately, the cracks no longer exist, they were filled in, as can be seen here:
